How Rhino Skin Works
Advanced Nutrients Rhino Skin is a very effective plant improver which can be used right the way through your grow from cutting to harvest. Rhino Skin provides your plants with the most soluble form of silica available. This makes Rhino Skin a much easier product to use and much easier for plants to absorb than other silica products on the market. Silica is a naturally occurring substance found in soils. It is used by plants to strengthen cell-walls which then increases plants resistance to fungi and insects. Rhino Skin helps to build noticeably stronger and thicker stems and roots and helps with uptake of nutrients and absorption of CO2. Rhino Skin helps to reduce the water loss through leaves (transpiration) which can help guard against wilting. Please note that although most silica products are highly alkaline, Rhino Skin is not. Many growers use potassium silicate as a pH increaser. However, as Rhino Skin is pH buffered, it is not suitable for this purpose.
Rhino Skin is part of the Advanced Nutrients “pH perfect” range of products. As long as you only use products in the Advanced Nutrients “pH perfect” range in your nutrient solution then there is no need to check and adjust pH.

We aim to deliver to mainland UK destinations within 2-7 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.) Please check product pages for any special delivery information relating to specific products. Please note that for delivery purposes the first full working day is the day after the order is received.
Deliveries are usually made via tracked services and will require a signature on delivery. Please ensure there is someone available to receive and sign for the parcel, or advise us of an alternate delivery address using the options available when completing your order at the checkout. Please use the BFPO option if you are sending to BFPO address, this will automatically update the delivery address with the MOD BF Postcode and will also work out the VAT exempt addresses.
Smaller, lightweight orders can be shipped using standard Royal Mail 1st class services.
Royal Mail will deliver between 09.00am and 18.00pm and cannot give a set time for delivery.
Whilst we will make every effort to deliver within the timescales stated on our website we will not be held liable for any consequential losses caused by late delivery.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that they are available to sign for delivery. If in the event your order is unable to be signed for your parcel will be returned and you will be liable for further shipping costs.

Electrical
Electrical items, such as ballasts and fans, come with a manufacturers warranty (1-5 years depending on manufacturer), faulty items will need to be tested prior to an exchange or refund being issued, and in some cases, the item may need to be returned to the manufacturer for further testing. Bristol Hydro Centre cannot be held responsible for any damaged caused by you (the customer) through improper use or neglect.
Grow Lamps
If returning a faulty grow lamp, please ensure its in the original packaging as this includes vital information with need in order to issue an exchange.
Liquids
We’re afraid we CANNOT give an exchange or refund on ANY LIQUIDS, this includes all nutrients and supplements.
